The ClerVolc Board is responsible for the political direction of the project and approves the budget. The Board is chaired by the University Clermont-Auvergne President. It involves a representative of each institution (CNRS-DR7 and IRD) and the Regional Delegate to Research and Technology (DRRT). It also invites representatives from local authorities (Auvergne region, Clermont community) and the PRES president.

 The Scientific and Strategic Committee focuses on the strategic orientations covering research activities, higher education and exploitations of the results. It reviews the knowledge transfer towards higher education and the exploitation of scientific results. The S&C Committee will involve seven external experts to review scientific results and to make recommendations for scientific orientations.

Le Comité Exécutif est responsable de la gestion globale et de la communication intra-consortium.

Le Comité Directeur assure le bon suivi des objectifs initiaux. Présidé par le président de ClerVolc, il comprend les représentants des laboratoires ainsi que le coordinateur de chacun des 7 programmes de recherche.

Le Conseil de ClerVolc est responsable des directions politiques du projet et approuve le budget. Le Conseil est dirigé par le président de l’Université Clermont-Auvergne. Il inclut un représentant de chaque institution (CNRS-DR7 et IRD) et le Délégué Régional à la Recherche et à la Technologie (DRRT). Il accueil aussi les représentants des autorités locales (la région Auvergne, Clermont Communauté) et le président du PRES.

Le Comité Stratégique et Scientifique se concentre sur les orientations stratégiques englobant les activités de recherche, l’enseignement supérieur et l’exploitation des résultats. Il examine le transfert de connaissances dans l’enseignement supérieur et l’exploitation des résultats scientifiques. Le comité stratégique et scientifique inclut sept experts internationaux pour examiner les résultats scientifiques et faire des recommandations sur l’orientation scientifique.
