Nina was a ClerVolc PhD from 2012 to 2015. She worked in the field of geochemistry, under the supervision of Maud Boyet and Christian Pin. She studied the La-Ce isotopic system, from the chemistry to the analysis of the Cerium isotopes. She developed a method to measure them as oxides on the Thermo ionisation mass spectrometer in the LMV. She then applied the method to different types of rocks, particularly arc lavas from the Lesser Antilles but also on other kinds of rocks to acquire a large amount of isotopic data on Ce.
