Alessandro TADINI

Alessandro carried out his postdoctoral research in 2020-2021 on the numerical modelling of ash plumes from the eruptive column (Plume-MoM model) to the distal dispersion of ash in the atmosphere (HYSPLIT model). A case study was conducted on the Cordon Caulle eruption (2011), improving our understanding of these explosive eruptions and providing interesting elements for the associated risk assessment.
